The TWEET Copy trader is a very powerful tool combining a broad range of features: Copy trading KOL accounts on X, On-chain Smart Wallets, as well as a combination of the two, First block sniping, Rug protection and automated limit orders.
In the TWEET dApp, you will have one place where you will find all your copy trades - both active copy trades as well as copy trading setups that have not triggered yet - as well as have the option to create new copy trading strategies.
In this section you will learn how to set-up and monitor your trades.
Let’s first dive into the UX of the ‘Copy Trading Monitor’.
On this page, you see an overview of all your active copy trades. Each copy trade has a custom name (which you can set when you are creating the copy trading strategy), so it is easy to recognize at a glance which copy trade you are reviewing. Every monitor is clean and simple when the “Strategy, Performance and Holdings” tabs are collapsed, but these areas provide a user with a lot of important details and insights, helping with making the best decisions.
Strategy
Once expanded, a user can see a summary of the setup copy trading strategy for this specific copy trade, seeing at a glance:
KOL and/or Smart Wallets that have been chosen to copy trade
The Buying Power (amount of ETH allocated to each copy trade)
Your selling settings:
Target you want to take out your initial investment
Any additional take profit targets you have set (including multiple TP targets)
Performance
Here you can see how the specific copy trade strategy is performing. The total value of all copy trades in this strategy as well as realized profits and the win rate of the trades within your copy trading strategy are shown.
Holdings
The holdings overview shows you which tokens have been bought via the set copy trade strategy. If you click on one of the tokens in the ‘Holdings’ section, the chart of that project will drop-down below the details of your holdings.
Besides the live chart of the token, you’ll have an overview of:
Token $cashtag
$ value of the token bought
Current $ value of the token bag
Unrealized $ profit (or loss)
Ability to “SELL” that token (see next part for detailed explanation)
Sell
When you click on “Sell” for any token in the holdings of your copy trade, you will be able to sell a percentage/your full bag of that token. There are preset sell percentages available for quick execution, but you can also define your own, custom percentage you want to sell.
Edit copy trade
When you navigate to the three vertical dots in the top right of any of your copy trades and click on them, you will get the popup shown on the screenshot here on the left.
This will allow you to:
Flip the status of your copy trade from “Active” to “Paused”
Edit your copy trading strategy (when you click on the edit pencil, the copy trading UI we’ll be explaining in detail later in this Doc reappears and allows you to edit all your settings) to add or remove wallets or KOLS and change your buying or selling set-ups.
Delete your copy trading strategy.
Creating a new copy trade
When you click on the “New strategy” button in your copy trading monitor (or when you click on the “Copy Trade” button in the Cashtag/KOL/Smart Wallet Agent), a popup window appears (see screenshot on the left) that allows you to create your custom copy trade strategy.
This is where you have the chance to set your copy trading strategy and make it stand out from anyone else.
How much customization can you do? Let’s walk through the different scenarios:
1) Copy trade your favorite KOL - find your KOL through the search function or directly via the KOL Agent. Indicate if you only want your copy trade to trigger based on a first mention of a new coin in the KOL’s call (in case you don’t check this box, your copy trade will trigger every time the KOL posts a tweet on X using a $cashtag or contract address).
2) Copy trade your favorite Smart Wallet(s) - select your customized favorites list (of Smart Wallets) or pick one of the predefined filter lists from the TWEET database and copy trade every buy these wallet(s) make.
3) Include Smart Wallets: Combine these 2 powerful variables and trade even more safely - Copy trade KOL calls, but only when a defined (sub)set of Smart Wallets has also bought the token your favorite KOL has called for (you can also uncheck this box if you only want to copy trade a KOL).
4) Select your preferred trading settings (Max Block Buy; Buying Power per trade; Max Buy/Sell Tax; Max Deployer/Owner Supply; Gas fee, Slippage;
5) Select your preferred safety settings (Honeypot/Blacklisted/Mintable/Verified) including the option to add the full EVA AI Security layer to your copy trade
6) Pre-set your sell settings (in case you want to pre-set these, so you can really activate your copy trade and forget about it, and let the TWEET AI Copy Trading Agent do the work for you).
Paper Trade
We have also included a very important function: Paper trading. Once you have set-up your copy trading strategy, but are unsure if it will perform well and already put your money into the strategy, you have the possibility to paper trade your strategy. So the copy trader will execute all the trades based on your strategy, but without real money. This way you can observe the outcome of your strategy and adopt it if necessary before starting to trade with your money.
